The buxom beauty wrapped up her multi-city birthday tour with a star-studded, pink carpet grand finale in Hollywood
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 11, 2012) –Rosa Acosta and her celebrity friends electrified Hollywood Thursday night with a glitzy pink carpet birthday bash. The celebration wrapped up a month-long tour including soirees in New York, New Jersey, DC, Philadelphia and Atlanta. Boutique Event & PR firm, Echoing Soundz produced last night’s Hollywood edition at the Roxbury.

The hip-hop model and fitness star celebrated a successful year as she prepares to transition from a popular “video girl” and swimsuit model to socialite, actress and certified businesswoman. Rosa Acosta will grace the upcoming covers of coveted men’s magazines including her own XXL Tribute edition, Maxim and Black Men’s Magazine. But the Dominican Republic native says “baring all” on magazine covers will soon become a thing of the past. With her first “Body by Rosa Acosta” workout DVD and fitness clothing line prepared to launch in the summer, Rosa Acosta has become a serious entrepreneur. “My fitness DVD will be for beginners, featuring a full body workout that will be simple but challenging and will focus on strengthening strategic parts of the body,” says Rosa. Her fitness clothing line will feature unique pieces for women who want to get in shape, in style.
In addition to launching her fitness DVD, Rosa will debut her new and improved acting skills with a starring role in “Los Blancos,” an online video series about the adventures of two sisters at the helm of their family’s cocaine business. Rosa plays the role of “Sophia Blanco,” the wild child responsible for taking care of the “dirty work” including deflecting the attention of her male admirers. “Working on this project has been a fun opportunity and I can’t wait for the series to launch soon,” explains Rosa.
While working on her new business ventures, the sought after music video star continues to host parties and events across the nation and has several TV hosting gigs in the works. She recently hosted the upcoming cable show “Comedy After Dark” with Jenna Jameson, Trina and Catalino. Rosa was welcomed in Istanbul, Turkey where she will be the face of a new clothing line for the company “Brothers for Life.” Rosa also manages to make time to volunteer with My Friends House every month, taking food and clothes to homeless people in downtown Los Angeles.
Despite her huge success as a hip hop video star and revealing model, Rosa Acosta’s passion is clear: “I love using health and fitness as a way to give back to my fans in a positive way. I am touched when young girls email me to say thank you for inspiring them to live better and take care of their bodies. I will always be passionate about this.”
